1. General Agreement

All communication between students and tutors must be conducted through Next Level Academics. Students and tutors must not schedule lessons independently or arrange private sessions outside of the company.

Any violation of this policy may result in legal action and a breach-of-contract fee of up to $5,000 AUD, subject to review based on the circumstances.

All payments must be made directly to Next Level Academics.

2. Discontinuation Policy

• If a student wishes to discontinue lessons, they must provide a minimum of 30 days’ notice in writing.

• During this notice period, students are still required to attend and pay for scheduled sessions.

• If the student chooses not to attend lessons during the notice period, the fee for those lessons is still payable.

• The 30-day notice requirement does not apply to trial lessons, which may be discontinued immediately.

3. Rescheduling & Cancellations

• Requests to reschedule must be made directly to Next Level Academics with at least 48 hours’ notice.

• If a rescheduling request is not submitted within this timeframe, the session may be forfeited without a refund, unless an exceptional circumstance applies.

• Exceptional circumstances include medical emergencies (with documentation), bereavement, or other serious situations, as determined at the discretion of Next Level Academics.

4. Complaints & Feedback

• Any complaints must be directed to Next Level Academics, and we will take appropriate action.

• Feedback regarding tutors may be provided and will be reviewed accordingly.

5. Safety & Conduct

Students must ensure a safe and respectful working environment for tutors. This includes:
✔ No harm, harassment, or inappropriate conduct directed toward tutors.
✔ For in-person lessons, a parent or guardian must have access to the session room (i.e., the session must not take place behind locked doors).
✔ For online lessons, students and tutors must adhere to professional conduct, and sessions may be monitored for safety purposes.

Any violation of these safety policies may result in the termination of tutoring services without a refund.

6. Payment & Lesson Fees

• The student agrees to pay the pre-determined rate as outlined in the official email for one-on-one lessons.

• If continuing after a trial lesson, the remaining term fee must be paid in full at the same rate.

• Lessons conducted during holidays (outside regular term dates) will be charged at the same hourly rate and must be paid upfront for the entire holiday period.

• Failure to make payments on time may result in suspension of tutoring services until the balance is cleared.
